Born in Cuba and finished by hand in Chattanooga, The Cuban Soul brings together family heritage, natural beauty, and the art of fragrance.

Each natural coconut shell was brought from Cuba, where my father carefully carved and polished it by hand. I complete each piece with sculpted wax succulents, transforming his craftsmanship into a small botanical garden—a tribute to our roots and the creativity we share.

A Botanical Garden Captured in Wax

Colorful wax succulents gather at the center of each shell, surrounded by an open wax surface with a delicate shimmer of glitter. The natural coconut shell adds warmth, texture, and its own distinctive character to every arrangement.

The base is hand-poured with Golden 464 Soy Wax, while the sculpted succulents are individually molded using American Freedom Pillar Soy Wax.

Each garden is wickless: a decorative scented wax sculpture to enjoy without lighting or heating.

Sandalwood Rose brings together warm woody character and soft floral notes, complementing the collection’s colorful botanical design.

Enjoy the fragrance up close as a gentle aromatic accent on a desk, bedside table, or favorite corner of your home. Fragrance intensity varies with the surroundings and naturally softens over time.

Wax weights include the base, sculpted succulents, and fragrance combined. They exclude the coconut shell, coaster, and packaging. Dimensions and weights are approximate.

Handmade Character

Every coconut shell has its own shape, grain, and natural markings. The wax base may show subtle tonal variations, a lightly textured finish, and small botanical traces from the preserved moss previously used in these pieces. The current design contains no decorative moss.

These details are visible in the photographs of each individual garden, allowing you to appreciate the character of the piece you select.

Each garden includes a hand-woven cotton coaster in warm natural tones and arrives in our signature kraft gift box with the Shen Aura logo—ready to give as a meaningful keepsake.
